Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Shaanxi Province project of the national large-scale wind power photovoltaic base was held in Pucheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. As a new energy base project in Weinan-Datang Luobin 300MW agricultural and photovoltaic complementary project started on the same day.

In the Weinan New Energy Base project started this time, Datang Shaanxi Power Generation Company will organize and implement 15 projects with a construction scale of 2.03 million kilowatts, with a total investment of about 10 billion yuan. Among them: 5 projects of 1 million kilowatts follow the multi-energy complementary model, through the flexible transformation of the thermal power unit of Shaanxi Company in Weinan area to solve the consumption problem, and use the existing 330 kV line of Datang Pucheng Power Plant to send; the remaining 10 In accordance with the principle of nearby consumption for each project, 1.03 million kilowatts will connect "green electricity" to the grid. After this groundbreaking ceremony, all projects will start construction one after another, and it is planned to be completed and put into production before the end of 2023.

After the project is completed, it can provide 2.65 billion kilowatt-hours of "green power" every year, save 800,000 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 2.08 million tons. It will effectively promote the optimization and adjustment of the energy structure in the Guanzhong region, and consolidate the blue sky defense battle and the atmosphere of the Fenwei Plain. The results of pollution prevention and control will accelerate the realization of Shaanxi Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" renewable energy consumption responsibility weight goal task.
